Recogniform Desktop Reader is the stand-alone version of Recogniform Reader Data Capture Suite. All processing steps take place on the same PC, one after the other.
All image processing and recognition features can be enabled, same as in Workgroup version.
Recogniform Desktop Reader includes a Recogniform Application Designer license.
TARGET: small users, low volume, low complexity documents processing.

Recogniform Desktop Reader is the perfect solution for users with a small daily documents volume, who want to run documents input, recognition, verify and output on a single PC.
The data-capture process is driven by user: documents can be imported from scanner (any TWAIN driver scanner) or from existing files. All image file formats are supported (TIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, PDF) as well as PDF text files.
Once import is completed, recognition, verify and output will follow automatically. According to fields accuracy and template settings, if no fields require correction the output phase will automatically follow the recognition.
Recogniform Desktop Reader includes all Recogniform Reader image processing features, as well as a Recogniform Application Designer license in order to allow templates configuration.
The check-boxes recognition engine (OMR) is always included. Additional recognition engines for handwritten and printed recognition, barcode capture and free-form features, are available as optional modules.
